Hello, I’m Amy.
Travel has always been more than simply seeing a new place for me—it’s about experiencing it.
I officially became a travel advisor in 2022, but long before that, I was the person friends and family turned to when they needed help planning a vacation. I loved researching destinations, working through the details, and finding those special experiences that could turn a good trip into an unforgettable one. Eventually, that passion became my profession.

Our favorite way to see the world.
Today, my husband, Tom, and I are empty nesters who love exploring the world together. Of all the ways we’ve traveled, river cruising has become my favorite. I love the relaxed pace, the smaller ships, the long days in port, and especially the opportunity to experience a destination rather than simply pass through it.
One of my favorite travel memories happened while we were in Germany during the Euro Cup. I’ll be the first to admit that I know next to nothing about football—or soccer, as I’m still inclined to call it—but I quickly learned when to cheer by watching everyone around me! Large screens were set up outdoors, locals gathered together to watch the matches, and the energy was absolutely contagious. Before long, I was cheering right along with them and thoroughly enjoying every minute. It was one of those wonderfully unexpected travel moments when you stop feeling like a tourist and simply become part of what’s happening around you.
That’s what I love most about travel—and especially about river cruising. It gives you the time and opportunity to experience a destination, connect with its people and culture, and come home with stories you never could have planned.
